100-year-old Science Experiment

While we were moving at the end of June, we found a box
containing mats with flower seeds (in roll-out mats)
which I had purchased in about
1998 and had forgotten. Keri called these seeds my
"100-year-old Science Expeiment." I decided to go ahead and
try to grow them. The first two pictures were taken about a
month ago, the second two were taken today...Sept. 25.
Since we are already have frost, I doubt we will see any
flowers, but some of the seeds actually sprouted.
(Yes, I realize some are
probably weeds, but I didn't dare pull any until I am sure.

End of summer

Here are some pictures of the flowers in our yard...
all were planted after July 10, so they did okay.
We have already had a frost two nights, so I
wanted to take pictures before they are all gone.
